During the exile period of Shri Rama Ji, God spent in Chitrakoot, hence the name of a place in Chitrakoot is Janaki Kund, where Mata Sita used to bathe, here is the flow of Mandakini river.

  There is beautiful forest presence on both sides of Mandakini here, which makes it even more beautiful.  On this, you also find the footprints of Mother Sita, Lord Rama and Laxman ji. 

It is said that when the feet of God fell in these stones, these stones were melted, so even today those marks are found.  It is 2 km from Pramod forest.  Is at a distance.
