Krishna Janmashtami festival in Chitrakoot dham - This festival is celebrated on the Ashtami (hindu month date ) of Krishna Paksha in Bhadra( Hindu month) month.
The Shree Krishna birth anniversary is celebrated with pomp and devotion by decorating the temples. This festival continues till the Chhath (hindu month date ).
Although this festival is more important in Mathura and Vrindavan, but this festival is also celebrated in Chitrakoot, it is considered a center of reverence.
