Ram Navami festival at Chitrakoot-  After Navratri of Chaitra month (Indian month), 

 Ram Navami is celebrated with great pomp, the birthday of Lord Sri Ramachandra. Although this festival is celebrated all over the country of India, but in Chitrakoot, you get to see it in a different way, all the temples here are decorated with great pomp. 

This festival is celebrated here because this was the time to spend 11.5 years of exile in Ram ,laxman and Mata Seeta Chitrakoot.
