Gupt Godavari Tample

Godavari is the daughter of Ravana's friend Manak Parvat. She is also a childhood friend of Sita ji when Maryada Purushottam Lord Rama, Mother Janaki and Lakshmana come to Chitrakoot during the exile period, Godavari secretly from Maharashtra (Nashik) to serve the Tungaranya mountain in Chitrakoot to serve God. . It is known as Gupt Godavari here due to its secret appearance and extinction.
